Today Samsung launched their second hard disk drive equipped mobile phone, the SPH-V7900 for the Korean market. The CDMA EV-DO 3G capable V7900 comes equipped with a 3GB hard disk that can be used for storing photos, movies, or music files.
The V7900 sports a 2 megapixel camera with a 2x optical zoom that is capable of recording MPEG4 video as well as shoot still photos. Photos and videos can be viewed on the device's 262k color QVGA (240x320) LCD display, and MP3/AAC/AAC+ music files can be listened to on the V7900's built in stereo speakers.
In addition to those features, the SPH-V7900 sports USB 2.0 and IrDA connectivity, as well as the ability to provide output to a TV for large screen viewing of photos and movies.
The SPH-V7900 weights about 165g (5.8oz), and measures up at 103mm x 52mm x 28mm (4.1" x 2.0" x 1.1") in size. The device is currently available in Korea for about US$700/580EUR. It is not available from Samsung outside of Korea at this point, and the company has not announced any plans to make the phone available elsewhere in the future
